We understand that as the use of cloud-based RtOI/MES systems grows, so do concerns about data security and transfer speed. In response, Matics provides a secure, independent, and stable wireless network that operates separately from the factory. Manufacturing data is encrypted for transfer from the shop floor to the router to the cloud using Matics’ proprietary technology. We provide each factory with a private Amazon cloud, using an active directory to control user access.
As the transfer of data occurs in real-time from all manufacturing lines to one centralized source, plant managers access accurate production data instantly using an app on any device, to analyze what happened, to confer guidance to staff, and to resolve issues faster.
